Quality Technician
JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:
Focus on sustaining quality control activities. Verify that quality standards are effectively being used to detect and address non- conforming product
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform finished product audit of production lines and communicates results and expectations to the line. |
Verify quality control standards and Measurements equipment methods are being used by operators to detect and address non- conforming product |
Assist in sustaining critical to Quality workstation and process Via training and provide accept/ reject samples |
Assist in providing specification reviews, and assist in containment of Non- conforming parts |
Print set sheets to help production to their jobs |
Maintain inventory and storage check |
Control of Non- conforming product |
Ability to effective communicate with other quality Engineers effectively |
Other duties assigned |

COMPETENCIES:
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education (i.e. degree required) GED
Experience and/or Training 2yrs. plating experience
Vison test
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
1 to 3 years of quality/MFG experience
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of quality a lean manufacturing principles.
Strong attitude in process improvement and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
Capable of being on your feet; standing, walking, 90% of the day. Ability to lift 15-30 pounds infrequently

Salary and Shift hours:
Salary: $17-22
Shift Days: M – Th
Standard Hours: 6am – 6pm
