Quality Manager

  • JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:

    Manage Douglas Warranty Program. Collects information, keeps management informed on findings, and works to hit target dates to conclude the improvement project on time. Creates pictorials and work instructions for new product and existing product. Works on Control plans/ PFMEA are for new products and existing ones.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education BA

    Experience and/or Training 2 years in manufacturing environment

    Licenses/Certificates N/A

    Technology/Equipment N/A

     

    PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, hear, use hands to touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to be able to move around the departments and buildings as well as occasionally visit customer plants or training facilities off site. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds while moving files or small packages. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Most often working in a temperature controlled office environment. However the job requires department interaction where air temperatures are not controlled. This can produce warm to very warm conditions.

     

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

    Work is performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

     

    COMPENSATION & HOURS

     

    Salary Range: 60 – 70K

    Shift hours:   M-T- 7am to 5:30pm; F- 7am to 12 PM

    Days / Nights: Days

    PTO: Standard; Extensive experience negotiable

    Target date:   ASAP
